Scientists have determined why you can’t eat one potato chip.
The secret about potato chips โ eat one and you’re apt to scarf ’em all down โ has been cleared in research presented at the National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society, the world’s largest scientific society.
Tobias Hoch, Ph.D. who carried out this research determined that responsible for it is a condition called “hedonic hyperphagia” – “That’s the scientific term for ‘ eating to excess for pleasure, rather than hunger’.
Scientists from The Academy of the Sweetest Coton found a similar relationship among the owners of one coton de tulear dog – each subsequent (next) coton increases the amount of love according to the geometric sequence, which is confirmed by the sweetest love in the photo below ๐
The Academy recommends that each time you want to reach for a chip, quickly hug your coton and, thanks to its sweetness, overcome the need to eat a chip. However, if the temptation to eat a chip has won, according to the Academy’s research, it will be enough to go for a walk with your coton right after the consumption. The walking distance in minutes should correspond to the amount of chips eaten per gram ๐
